Mechanics in Cyprus

Our departure for the Erasmus project took place on November 10th and through a bus stopping at Naples airport we arrived in Pathos by plane at night.

Pathos is a town on the southwest coast of the Mediterranean island of Cyprus.  Inhabited since Neolithic times, it has many sites that refer to the cult of the goddess Aphrodite, "Greek goddess of love".

Upon our arrival we were greeted by a driver who took us to the 4-star Avlida hotel. Located opposite the archaeological site of the Tombs of the Kings, this comfortable hotel is a 7-minute walk from the Mediterranean coast and 2 km from Paphos Port.

On the days off work we had the opportunity to visit two large cities: Nicosia - the capital - and Limassol. During the journey we made small stops in other archaeological sites scattered around the island and we also saw the rock of Aphrodite.

Our group of mechanics are working at the authorized Mercedes workshop where they are teaching us how to service cars, change brakes and many other things. At work everyone is very kind and welcoming.

Here are some of the photos we took.
