Work and leisure in Brussels

During the Erasmus experience, I had fun and learned a lot about Belgian culture and traditions but also about the language used in the country. This experience would not have been the same without all the guys who took part in this adventure with me.

In this month we have visited many historical and institutional buildings, such as La Grand-Place (one of the symbolic squares of the city), the European Parliament and museums, like the "Autoworld" car museum in Brussels or the museum of European history . Moreover, Brussels also has an extensive underground line that covers almost the entire city, useful for moving quickly in a city like Brussels. Thanks to Erasmus we were also able to visit cities such as Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands, crossed by the river Amstel,

Antwerp, named the city of diamonds, Luxembourg a very developed city so as to offer the wi-fi network in the city and which really respects the environment; Lille, a French city near the border with Belgium, where we were able to taste the typical savory crêpes, as well as visit the Grand-Place of the city and visit amazing Christian churches.

However, we have been lucky to be able to work with colleagues who are always available. I learned a lot from them but above all I had the opportunity to learn about their life stories and their work.

Thanks to Erasmus I was able to self-manage and grow, developing a sense of orientation and self-management. It was a fantastic experience that allowed me to make friends with many new guys and get to know new places that I have long wanted to explore.
