On April 14th, my Erasmus project began, a day preceded by a lot of anxiety but also by great enthusiasm to participate in a project that would take us far from home, with friends ready to face a new adventure: entering the world of work. The Erasmus project, promoted by our institute, involved a month of work at the pizzeria "La Pizza è Bella" located in Brussels.
On our arrival in Brussels, we were enchanted by a beautiful, clean city and a lot of tourists. The teachers who accompanied us provided support in every activity and even accompanied us on the first day of work.
First of all, working as a waiter at la Pizza è Bella Gourmet has been a very rewarding experience.I had the opportunity to put my skills into practice in the restaurant.I enjoyed interacting with clients, taking orders and providing quality service.I had the opportunity to improve my communication and time management skills.
One aspect that impressed me positively was the welcoming and friendly atmosphere inside the restaurant.I got on well with my work colleagues,This positive atmosphere made the work experience very pleasant.I had the privilege of staying in the hotel with my Friends.
One of the most iconic places I had the pleasure of visiting was the Grand Place, an amazing square which represents the beating heart of Brussels. In conclusion, my Erasmus period in Brussels was an amazing experience which gave me the opportunity to grow personally, discover a new culture and create friendships. Despite some challenges encountered during my stay, such as the conditions of the hotel, I have learned to make the most of every situation and to focus on the positive aspects that the experience has offered me. Thanks Brussels.
